Located in Delaplane, Virginia on one of the most exciting wine trails in the Washington, D.C. area, Aspen Dale Winery at the Barn is a boutique winery located on a 200 year-old country estate that offers a unique experience for wine lovers.
At Aspen Dale Winery at the Barn, we have endeavored to capture the best of  Colonial and European wine making techniques and blendings. The ambience of the 200 year-old hunt country barn winery and thoroughbred horse farm inspires us daily.
Our dream is to bring to life the notion that the mellowness of a boutique winery experience lingers long after the glass empties.

A great big thank you to all of you "newbies" and our many wonderful repeat patrons. We enjoy each of you so much!
If it is your first time, look for our little signs to guide you. From 66W take Exit 23 (17N), then 55W and stay to your right after the fork still on 55W - we are just 2.3 miles down on the left.  From 66E take Exit 23 turn left - then left on 55W - we're just 1.3 miles on the left -  you can't miss the blooming avenue of cherry trees on the first driveway on the left leading to the main manor house - they are spectacular.
Aspen Dale Lane's 2nd driveway is the winery entrance to the lovely barn surrounded by stacked stone walls. We await your arrival because we know that here you will  transport yourself
 to much less complicated times.
Thank you

We should've finished our wine tour here, because it's all downhill from here. Plus the folks that operated the winery were awesome!

The ambiance is amazing.  A place where you can get away from the everyday and really enjoy the wine.  The wine is very good. Best I've had in Virginia.  Most Virginia wines are not so good but these actually are!
Amy

Flutist fantastic, grounds great and wine wonderful.

Fantastic winery, lovingly maintained, great atmosphere and outstanding wines.  For a new vineyard, everything on the tasting list was truly excellent. Very hard to pick what to bring home.

Beautiful setting, friendly service. All of these wines were incredible.  I had a big challenge deciding what to buy.  This is one of my favorite wineries yet, I will definitely be back!

The gazebos and picnic tables await you for one of the most  commanding views of the Blue Ridge and the surrounding lands from east to west.
Best Virginia wine we have had. Parris Country Blend - Blackberry jam and bacon?  Why have breakfast? Wonderful!

Cromwell, our wonderful Great Dane at 6 weeks ... now he is waist high!
A sought after spot.
We love small weddings.

an incredible Cab - no wonder they have award-winning wines. If I don't buy my case upon release they are soon out.

Wow, we are happy.  According to a press release by the Virginia Farm Council, who organized the Wine Festival, in The Plains, the only wine we had in competition took the Merlot blind tasting against the California Merlot -"hands down." Recently a Gold Medal in the Virginia State Fair as well! Come celebrate
with us! Oh, we passed our  first year anniverary and thanks
to you we have much to celebrate.
